This Left Feels Right

As a massive Bon Jovi fan, I have accepted and loved everything that the band has delivered. However, their latest offering This Left Feels Right (“a Greatest Hits with a twist” according to BonJovi.com), goes against the band’s deserving definition of one of the world’s best rock bands.
You could say that they have recorded the perfect dinner party CD. Jon, Richie, David, Tico and Hugh have gone down the experimental path of striping down their absolute classics and regurgitating them so you hardly recognize your beloved favorites.
The athem It’s My Life is one of the better rehashed songs on the CD. Instead of a fist-pumping rock song with lots of noise, the guys have forgotten to record guitars, drums and that wa-wa-wo voice instrument. Instead they have slowed the perfect kick-ass song right down and just gone with an orchestra arrangement.
This Left Feels Right is a spin-off off their 1994 best of release Crossroads, and is a huge disappointment to this Jovi fan.
