Diesel's Unlikely Place To Record Music

Days Like These
Diesel
Days Like These is Diesel’s eighth studio album and his third recording with Richie Vez on bass and Lee Moloney on drums. The album is what Diesel does best; mixes rock, pop and blues in a pot but doesn’t mix too well so in the end he has a great sounding album.
“It’s a new spin on old ground,” says Diesel. “A lot of people will probably say when they hear this record ‘Oh good, he’s rocking again!’ (Chaosmusic.com)
The first single off Days Like These has the same title of the album, and is a blend of rock and pop. It has a catchy bass rhythm and chorus.
Lay Down Here is a great rock track with electric guitars and strong lyrics. Prisoner is nothing he has ever done ever before Diesel admitted in one interview, the song has a dark tinge to it and Diesel uses his voice in another range he normally would.
A home bathroom wouldn’t a place you’d ever guess to be a good place to record guitar bits for albums but this is what Diesel does to get the better acoustics. Diesel is also happy to see sales of vinyl steadily increasing as he says there’s nothing that sounds better than a vinyl album. With this in mind, Days Like These is available to buy on vinyl.
It seems that Diesel tours around the country non-stop. He’s about to embark on his Days Like These National Tour and the details are as follows (thanks to Undercover.com.au):
