Most of Carolina Liar’s band members have come from Sweden, but lead singer Chad Wolf is from South Carolina; a very interesting mix that produces a really rocky sound. If you look at each song credit, each band member contributed to the tracks.
The first track is their single I’m Not Over which starts the album boldly and loudly. Each song has a story of love, losses and personal struggles, combined with heavy guitars and drums.
However the track Last Night sounds quite different to the rest of the album. Synthesised keyboards were used giving a pop/80 ‘s sound, much like The Killers’ sound.
There are some catchy lyrics on the album and I wouldn’t be surprised if we will hear songs like Coming To Terms, All The Shit Is Gone and Beautiful World on our radio in the year ahead.
Coming To Terms gets three out of five frangipanis from me.
