I’m not the biggest fan of Human Nature and yes I’ve bagged them on Gigs ‘n Reviews before but there was something very comforting seeing them when we were in Vegas, plus it was the fact that these four Aussies are the first Aussies to have a Vegas show made us proud.
The theatre they performed in was small and quite intimate. Everyone were seated at long tables and closer to the front where we were people sat at long tables. The crowd consisted of the young and older generations ready to have a great night celebrating Motown music.
The guys came onstage dressed in black suits, bow ties and white ruffle shirts, looking very smart. They impressed the crowd with their synchnized moves and harmonies. Many times throughout the night the guys walked onto the long tables which were in front of the stage. At one point they chose a woman from the crowd to get up onstage and sing with them.
By the end of the night people were standing and dancing. ABC by The Jackson 5 received a great reaction, then the Beatles’ classic Got To Get You Into My Life was just awesome.
After the show the guys were giving autographs and happily having photos taken with fans. Dad asked the guys if they could sign a notepad and have photos with us. Mum, who is a huge fan, was in heaven! Toby asked me if I enjoyed the show so they impressed us with that (I’m in a wheelchair and communicate by using my laptop so most people automatically assume I don’t have a brain. When the rare person actually speaks to me like an adult it’s nice).
Toby said they could be in Vegas more than the year if the demand keeps up. So if you’re lucky enough to go to Vegas I highly recommend this show.
