Bruce Springsteen
I have to admit I sit in awe watching Bruce Springsteen - The Complete Video Anthology, 1978-2000". It’s the fact that since the 70’s Bruce Springsteen has been prominent in the music industry and this itself is an amazing achievement.
His storytelling flows over to most of his videos. Brilliant Disguise is the most impactful video I’ve ever seen. It’s just Bruce at the kitchen table, playing an acoustic guitar with the camera slowly panning in to a close-up of his face. Powerful stuff.
Of course there are some less-tasteful videos which might be seen as cheesy (Leap Of Faith sadly comes to mind), but remember the fashion in the 90’s? Some styles were big hair and big loud multicoloured clothes.
