This concert was filmed in 1995 during Bon Jovi’s These Days tour at Wembley Stadium. I wouldn’t be able to tell you how many times this video tape/DVD has been watched in this household throughout the years; it brings back memories of such a fantastic night. Bon Jovi
On Tuesday night (much to Dad’s disgust) we watched Bon Jovi Live In London on our huge projector screen with surround sound. Baby baby baby, there’s no better way to spend a night (unless you’re lucky enough to get an actual ticket to a Jovi concert!)
On this DVD you see an energetic, jovial and passionate Jon Bon Jovi (vocals, guitar, moracas, tambourine), Richie Sambora (vocals, guitar), Tico Torres (drums) and Hugh McDonald (bass) performing for over 72,000 fans. They belt out hit after hit and you see waves of people enjoying every moment.
The highlight of the DVD would have to be the beginning of Lay Your Hands On Me. Imagine over 72,000 fans clapping to the beat and yelling “Yeah” in sync. Amazing! And only Tico and David were onstage at that point.
If you’re lucky enough to have a home theatre system or know someone who has one, I highly recommend Bon Jovi Live In London. I give it four and an half frangipanis.
