Love, Pain And The Whole Crazy World Tour
Keith Urban
Keith Urban is a dinky-di Aussie who just puts on a good show without a big production behind him and his band. What you see is what you get with Keith and this is what makes him so likable.
Love, Pain And The Whole Crazy World Tour has snippets throughout the DVD capturing behind-the-scenes footage and gags. At one point Keith was explaining something, then suddenly breaks into a very good Doctor Evil impression. Keith’s songs have this brutal honesty but unlike some country tunes it’s always optimistic.
I admit I’m not a die-hard fan of Keith’s, and I’m definitely not a country girl but I do enjoy his music. The DVD is packed full of hits and recent songs off his album Love, Pain And The Crazy Thing. Keith and his band have certainly deliver a high-energy show that contains both laughter and tears. Keith dedicated Got It Right This Time (The Celebration) to his wife Nicole Kidman who was standing backstage. For this he sat at his piano and sang. (Aww!)
Keith became very emotional while singing Everybody, the last song of the night, as he dedicated it to his loyal fans who stuck by him throughout a rocky tour.
I give Love, Pain And The Whole Crazy World Tour four out of five frangipanis. Here’s the track listing:
1. Once In A Lifetime
2. Where The Blacktop Ends
3. Shine
4. Raining On Sunday
5. Stupid Boy
6. Used To The Pain
7. You’re My Better Half
8. Making Memories Of Us
9. You’ll Think Of Me
10. I Told You So
11. Days Go By
12. You Look Good In My Shirt
13. Tonight I Wanna Cry
14. Who Wouldn’t Wanna Be Me
15. Somebody Like You
16. Got It Right This Time (The Celebration)
17. Better Life
18. Everybody
