Jon Bon Jovi
Now the tribute band has to change their name to something that hasn’t the word ‘Jovi’ in it. Also they have been told to cease using the Jovi logo “heart and dagger”.
This latest legal action is after Jon was reportedly sued by a Boston singer/songwriter for using (or I guess you could call it stealing) lyrics, so maybe in a strange way this is payback or a message to the world that if you dare tarnish the name ‘Jovi’ in any way you’ll be punished. Not that a Bon Jovi tribute band would ever destroy the name!!
I want to know where did the old Jon go? The old Jon would have supported bands like Blonde Jovi, not smacking them with legal action. I want to hear a Jovi song without thinking “What a pri#$!!”

I think if the Blonde group is any good it will be successful under any name and not have to ride on somebody else's coattails.
Think of how you would feel if somebody started a blog on Orble called Digs n Reviews...or Pigs in Canoes...or Jigs in New Shoes...and tried stealing your loyal readers away. The knockoff would probably be a flop-as most knockoffs are-but, some readers may mistakenly read the knockoff and think it's your blog.
Anyway, great post! Loved the pic of Jon, and I still feel he is one of the nicest rockers alive.
