This morning Sunrise’s hosts Mel and Koshi quickly apologised for the performance from the American pop star Lady GaGa.
Lady Gaga performed her worldwide smash hit Let’s Dance with a backing track, but instead of providing a hundred percent of live vocals, she lip-synced the majority of the song.
Not even ten minutes later Mel and Koshi explained that normally Sunrise has a policy where they only accept performers onto the show if they sing live and did say there were technical difficulties, but they were obvious embarrassed about what had just happened. It was embarrassing to watch let me tell you!
It’s good to know that Sunrise are passionate about bringing us actual live music and not just interested in having big names in today’s music on the show!
