INXS performance of Taste It on MusicMax

To watch or Not to watch
This would have to be one of the raunchiest performances I’ve ever seen on TV. Let’s go back to the time when INXS brought their new singer JD Fortune to Australia for a promo tour. The Foxtel/Auststar channel MusicMax got INXS to perform as a Max Session, where a small group of fans were able to be a part of the intimate set.
This particular video is of INXS’ hit Taste it. Watching this video made me watch in amazement. JD’s attitude towards the mic was something you awkwardly watched, but at the same time you couldn’t help continuing to look.
Maybe this was JD’s bold statement to become a serious sex symbol, or maybe he was just feeling provocative at the time. Whatever his intention was, it had many affects on many women.
