Sorry about missing last week’s edition of Gigs ‘n Reviews’ weekly Myspace Discovery. With Easter last week things got a tad hectic. Now onto regular programming.

Australian, Myspace, Linkin Park, Incubus
I.R.I.D.I.U.M
I.R.I.D.I.U.M is a four member hard rock band from Newcastle, Australia. They sound very much like Linkin Park’s recent sound producing a heavy rock sound but also having piano accompanying loud electric guitars and drums. Like Incubus they have a real surfy sound, especially in their track Planets. They have another on their Myspace page called Invulnerable which is a fast track boasting a positive message about taking care of the planet.

I.R.I.D.I.U.M have a self-titled five track demo available by contacting them through Myspace.
