My Dynamite
My Dynamite is another Melbourne band who rock. The video of a live performance of Rosanna on their Myspace page packs the punch of rock with a catchy lyric.
You can hear three live tracks on Myspace , all great rock tunes. My Dynamite reminds me of Jet and Wolfmother with their classic rock sound and songs that have attitude.
As I said before, Rosanna is a catchy rock tune that you can’t stop singing. Their other four tracks on Myspace are just as likable. At the beginning of Raise Your Glasses, it has an infectious steel guitar, then leaps into bluesy rock. One would imagine this would be a favourite in pubs.
All their live tracks are awesome. All That She Brings is very Led Zeplin-ish with a rocking guitar riff with a Australian Summertime feeling that could be easily played on radio. Their last track Not Goin’ To Work is full of attitude and would be another pub favourite.
I hope we get to hear more of My Dynamite as we need more real rock bands.
