Ginhouse Bluesband
Ever since Diesel released his first blues album with Chris Wilson called Short Cool Ones in 1996, I have loved bluesy rock. So when I came across Ginhouse Bluesband their music immediately impressed me.

Ginhouse Bluesband are from Wollongong, New South Wales. They’re a four piece band with Tony Cini on vocals, Jono Dallimore on guitar/dobro, Bill Crossland on bass and Bruce Stephens on drums.
On their Myspace they list their tour dates which are mainly in New South Wales apart from two Canberra dates.
They feature two tracks on Myspace. For a start the title of their first track Unmastered Hoochie Coochie Man grabbed my interest right away. Ginhouse Bluesband have come up with a classic blues track with great guitar riffs and solos. You could so imagine seeing Ginhouse Bluesband playing Unmastered Hoochie Coochie Man in a dark pub with the seated crowd tapping their feet.
Ginhouse Blues is their second track featured on Myspace. It’s an instrumental track with a quiet start, and then builds momentum with brushes on the drum and an electric guitar; perfect to listen to on a lazy afternoon.
I hope Ginhouse Bluesband place more tracks on Myspace in the future as they have a great sound.
